June Meeting

Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 17, in our usual location of the Upper Vestry Room in St.George's at half six. By popular demand, we'll be treated with an introductory lesson to Quantum Physics - it's sure to be fascinating, so make sure you're there!

We've been invited to have a stall at the Village Fete on Little Russell Street on July 5th. Please contact us if you're interested in baking, selling treats, recruiting new members, or simply helping us set up and clean up. Set up is likely to take place between 9 and 10, and we should be closing the stall between 3 and 4. Keep in mind that we can reimburse you for materials such as ingredients and stationary, just as long as you keep your receipts!

Coming up on July 15th, we'll be enjoying a guided wine tasting, accompanied by snacks, so keep your palette's fresh! We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

April Meeting

Hello! This month's meeting will be devoted to getting to know your fellow West End WI members through a variety of fun and exciting activities. As usual, we'll be meeting at half six in the Upper Vestry room of St.George's in Bloomsbury, entrance via Little Russell Street, and we look forward to seeing all of you there!

Looking ahead, the tentative schedule for the next six months of meetings is as follows:

August - Flower Arranging

September - Origami

October - Nigerian Cookery

November - AGM

January and February Updates

At the January WI meeting, Committee Member Helen Roden volunteered to be Treasurer. This was gratefully accepted by the members present. This means that the WI group will be able to continue. And the next regular meeting will be 6.30pm Tuesday 19th February in the Upper Vestry Hall, St George's Church, entrance on Little Russell Street. This month's speaker is from "The Ghost Club"!

WI Subscriptions are due! The fee is £26 for the year, so please bring your cheque books along on 19th Feb and pay your subs to Helena Roden, our treasurer. If you will not be at the meeting email Helena on helenaroden@beeb.net to arrange payment.

Dragon Hall Celebration - 6.30pm Tuesday 5th February at Dragon hall on Stukely Street.

The London West End WI has been invited to have a stall at this event to raise our profile in the local community and join in the celebration. We are going to take some home baked goodies with us to get us noticed. So if you are willing to bake for this event and or help with the stall please contact Carrie now. Remember that we can reimburse the cost of cooking ingredients!
