In our May meeting Persephone Books will be coming to speak to us about their work reprinting out of print fiction and non-fiction written by women.
Persephone Books in Lambs Conduit Street was established in 1999 by Nicola Beauman with the aim to resurrect forgotten and out of date novels written by women. With their distinctive grey covers the books covers a wide range of subject matter and reflect the lives of women throughout the late 19th and 20th century.
