There are lots of events taking place around International Women's Day (on 8th March) and some link to particular WI campaigns such as the Stop Violence against Women. Check out this event on 15th March

Women are a powerful force in effecting change in the world; we need to learn how to get our voices heard.
The approach; conversation not combat, supporting the idea that we can effect social change.
Speakers include: TV’s Dr Linda Papadopoulos, political advisor Ayesha Hazarika; Davina James-Hanman of the Greater London Domestic Violence Project; PR guru, author and broadcaster Lynne Franks; Dianne Nelmes, creator of TV’s Loose Women, semiotician Malcolm Evans & social entrepreneur Karen Darby.
Whether you are creative or in business, man or woman, you can be part of this conversation.
