Ever wondered what the symbols on Only Connect mean? Find out this and more with our beginners guide to reading Egyptian hieroglyphs.

AGM and Lonely Bouquets We'll be voting in our new committee, and then making bouquets to leave around London for strangers to pick up and take home (and make them smile)

the Positive Society, and Resolution voting
We'll be making our voice heard by voting on the 2017 WI Resolutions which the WI will then campaign on nationally. Following that, our speaker will be telling us all about the Positive Society, and how to stay positive!

Birthday Party
It's our 10th Birthday Party - put on your glad rags and help us celebrate in style!

Flower printing
Helena will lead us in a crafty evening of turning fresh flowers and leaves into amazing cards using nothing but watercolour paper and hammers - stress relief, but with pretty things!

Urban hedgehogs
Learn from an expert from London Wildlife Trust all about these cute and prickly creatures, why they're declining and how to help them survive in the urban environment.

Morris Dancing
Join us for an evening of Morris Dancing (with hankies this time) - this has always been a popular and fun topic so we're delighted that Tish and Mick are able to come back!

The Museum Street Irregulars
Join local historian and owner of Atlantis Books, Geraldine Beskin, for a fascinating insight into the characters who have made our local area their home and playground over the years.
15 November
AGM and Drama Workshop
It's time for the AGM, and electing a new committee for 2018. Afterwards, we're going to have a drama workshop to let out our inner acting divas!
20 December
Carol Service
There's no meeting in December, but members are welcome to attend the St George's Carol Service, and we'd love some of you to help out with mulled wine and mince pies afterwards

Swing Dancing
To get us dancing into the new year, Melonie will be leading us in a swing dancing class

2017 Cake Sales 
We hope to have stands at a number of events this year!  As ever, we'll be seeking bakers to provide for the stalls, and lovely ladies to sell our goodies!  We will be at:

1st July:         Queen's Square Fair
15th July:         Chap Olympiad, Bedford Square

2nd September: Phoenix Gardens Fayre
16 September: Open House at St George's

December: St Georges Carol Service
