Monthly Meeting - Tech Night
Our May meeting was a return visit by the team from Dragon Hall to talk about their work developing technology based skills with young people in London, and letting us have a play with technological toys including 3D Doodler pens, google glasses and augmented reality phone apps.
Craft Club - jewellery making
At our monthly craft club, we made beaded necklaces and bracelets, using the simple techniques of threading onto elastic or nylon thread, and a spot of crimping or knot tying (turns out the latter is harder than it looks!)
British Museum Visit - Sunken Cities
On Sunday 15th May, some of our members attended the community preview of the Sunken Cities exhibition at the British Museum. It's well worth a visit - if you missed it, there may be another opportunity to attend a community view of it later in the summer.
